:::Why must we mark our territory with a fence??::::

I don't know about you, but I'm NOT a fan of the 'perimeter' fence.  Too much hard and not enough soft. Here's my solution to that.  Berm-fence-berm. Repeat.  It's great for windy areas and to break up snow drifting in the winter months.  I know fences are practical in many circumstances (pets, children and vandals) but if this alternative suits you- use it!!!

:::Interesting New Products from Landscape Ontario's Congress:::

Cool Seating made from Banas' Natural Stone

An Inukshuk Outdoor Light

Wheeled Chaise made from recycled plastic in several funky colours

I think this canopy/pergola is perfect for our unpredictable weather.  It truly would make the hot tub much more enjoyable in the winter.

I attended Congress in January and had intended to post them much earlier!  But they are here now to enjoy.  If you have any questions just email or call!

I hope everyone is having a wonderful day,

:::Your Landscape Designs will soon be available in 3D:::

Tom and I just got word that the add-on for our Landscape software will be coming out at the end of the month.  We can't wait to get our hands on it to try it out.  I can't wait to give our customers a near real view of what their completed landscape design can look like!

:::Enjoying your Sunset:::

For many, it is desired to have South-Western exposure on the side of the house where you have your deck or patio.  But with the way subdivisions are planned these days, not all of us can be so lucky!

You have to make the most of what you have and perhaps create a cozy nook for you and your loved ones.  A place to sit and relax at the end of the day and soak up the last of the day's rays.

Below is something I sketched to illustrate this:

  Sideyard sunset

I like to break out the watercolours from time to time to give my wrist a break from the stylus.  Good creative fun.  I hope you can tweak this idea to suit your sideyard!  Hope everyone is having a wonderful day.
